Over the past week, I have not been able to make much progress on my final product, however there has been progress for both my BPA project and my ISM Journey.
To start, my BPA presentation went extremely well and we thought we did really well, especially in our question answering, timing, and general content. Unfortunately, however, we did not qualify for nationals. We were able to compete at a national level and made the top 20 in the nation but did not make it to nationals in Chicago, which although is devastating, is alright. In regards to my product, itself, I may have to drop the idea as a whole but I will talk to my mentor before making any rash decisions.
In regards to my ISM Journey, on February 23rd, I attended and participated in the Frisco ISD ISM Showcase, where I was able to show off my research and journey so far. I got to explain my work to a ton of other mentors, students, peers, and adults. I brought my 3D print which a lot of people really enjoyed looking at and holding. It was a fun experience and it was interesting to see what everyone else had also been working on.
