Research Speech Done and Interview Updates - Nov 20th

This week in ISM, I was finally able to finish my research speech, in which I talked about my progress in the class up till that point. I got sick so I had an extra day to work on it, however, I am extremely proud of my work as I felt the speech went well and the extensive effort I put into the graphics really elevated the speech’s presentability. I made sure to put special emphasis on charts and diagrams to make it easier for the class to visualize everything I was saying. I also think I did pretty well as many people told me I sounded well researched and the visuals were great.

I also am partially struggling again with finding interviews. I have my second one scheduled, however I am having issues with my 3rd. One business owner has already agreed to interview me, however, he isn’t being the best with replying which is really annoying me as his business is one I really do want to learn about as it is in line with the businesses I am trying to study, those being retail and merchandise based. I am also struggling to find businesses and business owners to interview, but I hope to use this week off from school to find those.
